Thanks for this AWESOME experience! I was able to get K1-5th grade to attend. 6th is the only one that missed it. The teachers are raving about the experience and the students' excitement. Hopefully we will have more of these type of opportunities this year.
I wanted to thank you all for making Wednesday's concert with Shaw Pong Liu such an amazing success! Creating an engaging and vibrant event on Zoom is no small task, but this week's presentation easily captured the attention of our BPS students.
Over 15 classes throughout BPS were in attendance. It was such a joy to see them respond to Shaw Pong's incredible musical performance on the violin and erhu, and take part in the art of Chinese writing!
They were in the palm of her hand from beginning to end.
Fun, engaging and educational. Students learned about the language, the country and some folklore, about the violin and its Chinese cousin. We loved how [Shaw Pong] moved among the audience, engaging students. Very dynamic!
I wanted to share how wonderful it was to have Shaw Pong today! The kids were really happy and engaged, she was very kind and allowed room for their natural curiosity and her interaction with them was very positive! Her program is wonderful, and it was a delight to everyone present.
I want to thank you for the wonderful program that you provided for our students and families. It was a wonderful way to start the week! Your presentation was the perfect balance of information and participation. Our students were engaged throughout and several have pursued an interest in writing Chinese characters.
