From the grasslands of Mongolia to the high mountain of Yunnan, master musician Shaw Pong Liu takes audiences on a musical journey through historical and contemporary China. Her suitcase packed with languages and musical instruments, Shaw Pong weaves history, geography, the Mandarin language and Chinese folk music in a dynamic exploration of China.

Single performance: $925
Additional performance: $740
Travel: $100 per day
Pricing may vary for weekends/out-of-school time
Processing Fee of $45 added to all contracts

Provisions:

  • 1 reserved parking space
  • 1 microphone stand with boom arm
  • 1 armless chair
  • Projector and screen

Performance Space Requirements:

  • Students seated on floor, if possible.
  • Prefer as intimate (small) a space as can comfortably accommodate all audience members.
  • Minimum space for performer: 5x8 feet

Arrival time before first performance: 30 minutes

Strike time: 15 minutes

Time needed between performances: 15 minutes

Grades should be consecutive.
