Discounts & Grants

Thank you for championing arts learning at your school! We offer a number of discounts for multiple bookings and would be happy to help you, please contact AFLMA at 617-629-9262 or scheduling@artsforlearningma.org

Town-wide scheduling discount
10% off (up to $1000) the program price when 8 or more performances by the same artist are scheduled within the same town by one coordinator. Not applicable to residencies.

Schedule with other schools in your town
For the majority of our artists, if more than one school in the same district schedule a performance on the same day, those schools split the program fee. Please ask for more details at the time of scheduling.

We encourage you to reach out to these potential funding partners:

Local Cultural Council (LCC)
Schools should contact their LCC for possible grant opportunities. 
Visit: www.massculturalcouncil.org/programs/lccgrants.asp for deadlines and instructions. Applications are typically due in mid-October. For supporting materials for your grant applications, visit the AFLMA web page of your desired artist or ensemble.

Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC)
The MCC has a number of grant programs for artist residencies, including STARS grants.
Visit: www.massculturalcouncil.org for information. Applications are typically due in late-October. Please contact AFLMA for supporting materials for grant applications.

Local business partners
Contact local businesses for possible subsidy opportunities. AFLMA is happy to write letters of support for funding proposals.

Title I Funds
Title 1 funds to provide students with a well-rounded education. Arts programming can be used as part of your strategy to meet your Title I goals.
