Cat Mountain
A Japanese folk tale comes to life in this theater performance with original music, masks, and traditional Japanese songs. Listen and experience the story of Sho, a servant girl who journeys to Cat Mountain where she hopes to find her cat and her own freedom.

Processing Fee of $30 added to all contracts
Live Online
School sets up link for remote meeting and makes the artist a co-host. Screen share must be enabled. Artist may need to sign on 20-30 minutes prior to the meeting to check sound levels. A representative from the school must be on the call to facilitate Q+A and mute students as needed. Please introduce the performer as an Arts for Learning Massachusetts artist.
In-Person
Provisions:
- 1 reserved parking space
- 2 long folding tables
- 4 chairs
- Extension cord
- Water for 1 person
- 1-2 people to assist performer with load-in, if possible
- SOMEONE TO RUN THE CD PLAYER DURING SHOW!
- Dolly or flatbed cart to help transport equipment (if not available, please let AFLMA know)
Performance Space: 20’ by 25’ stage (if possible)
- Offstage changing room and/or green room (if possible)
- Electrical outlet.
Arrival time before first performance: 1 hour
Strike time: 1 hour
Time needed between performances: 15 minutes.
Teachers are asked to model appropriate audience behavior for students.
