Margaret Moody Puppets

The Arlington-based ensemble of Margaret Moody, Ann Wynne and musician Peter Lehman created, and perform “The Trolls and the Tree” for Arts for Learning Massachusetts. 

Margaret, a devoted hand puppeteer who performs through Margaret Moody Puppets and collaborates with other troupes, enjoys playing the sweet fairies and cranky trolls in the show. Artist and early childhood educator Ann Wynne makes her puppet debut as “Squirrel.” Peter Lehman accompanies the puppet show on theorbo (lute) and guitar, drawing on music from the Renaissance to country. Peter is the founder of the music groups Foggy Mountain Consort and Ensemble Eclectica Boston. Ann offers art programs for children and adults at A Room for Art and is a member of the Lexington Community Farm Education Dept. Ann and Peter co-wrote the theme song for the play.
