She was honored by Boston's Mayor with a mural with her image in her Mariachi outfit on Pari Street in East Boston. Mayor Walsh also appointed her to the leadership board for the Boston Creates initiative. Veronica is Co-founder and Director of the Veronica Robles Cultural Center, which supports community action and economic growth in East Boston, features Latin American arts and culture programs and provides jobs for area youth. In 2019, with the support of The Boston Foundation, Veronica Robles founded Boston’s First Ever All Women Mariachi Band.

Testimonials
Veronica is a cultural gem in the state of Massachusetts. Songstress, educator, media producer, businesswoman, community activist, cultural ambassador, she brings it all to the table. She is an incredible role model for young women, and an enormous contributor to our cultural wealth.
Veronica was simply amazing! She kept everyone engaged and even got our eighth-grade boys and girls up dancing on stage.
I heard from a Mexican-American mom that her son was so excited to tell her about the performance and see their culture represented. We strive to provide our students with windows and mirrors! Windows so that they can see other cultures and mirrors that reflect their own identities! Thank you for bringing joy to our Wednesday.
